I prefer the first Barnstorm record, but this one and So What? are pretty great, as well.

I had no idea. Thanks for this.

I have no idea what the title of the album means- but I think Walsh meant it to be that way.

Playing the album now, for probably the first time since the early 80s. My college band used to cover The James Gang' "Funk 49" and it remains one of my all-time faves to this day. A fun one to play percussion to.

I love the first two James Gang albums ('Yer Album' and 'Rides Again'). "Stop" is such a fantastic song to play LOUD. The only thing that stops 'Yer Album' from being a 5-star record is the silly in between track chatter. Otherwise, it's a perfect, in your face, ass kicking record from Cleveland (where I grew up)! 'Rides Again' always felt like it had more in common with Led Zeppelin with the hard rockin' side one and the softer/ballad side two. It definitely has more diverse songwriting and less sludgy rock than featured on 'Yer Album,' making it the perfect compliment to their debut.
