A great Glimpse - and necessary, because while I've listened to The Who and Townshend on occasion, they just never grabbed me the way so many others have - and I'm not sure why. My first thought on listening to 'Give Blood' was how much it sounds like Pink Floyd's Momentary Lapse of Reason - which, given the Gilmour connection, makes perfect sense. This album is currently on the top of my playlist, so tomorrow's housework is going to be well soundtracked! Thanks for the insight!
I have heard some of these tracks on my 2CD Townshend solo anthology, but not the entire album. I hope to remedy that by getting a copy.
Since "Quadrophenia" is one of my favorite Who albums, I'm anxious to hear more about Jim.
