Great article. 'Live at Pompeii' is one of my favourite films - lots of great memories sitting in the dark with my friends as we stared at the grainy video and collectively lost our minds for awhile. As soon as this album was released, I listened to it ASAP - and was so pleased it's got Waters's bassline (da-da-da-DA-da) in Echoes Pt 1. I loved that bit of the film, but it's not as pronounced on Meddle. And great shout out re Richard Wright - as much Pink Floyd as any of the others, despite what happened from The Wall onwards.

Thanks, Bryan. They did a great job on the restore/remaster.
Thanks for this, Ian. I'm 57, and the first LaserDisc I ever watched was PF Life at Pompeii. So very happy to now own Steven Wilson's remix.
Thanks for calling out Richard Wright. He was a big part of their sound and deserves the credit you bestow on him here.
