I’m aware of Judee Sill’s short and seemingly tragic life and look forward to learning more about her in the documentary. I’ve listened to some of her music and she certainly seems to have been overlooked/under appreciated in her lifetime.

Wrote the first draft of the Petty piece today. I’m hoping to post it tomorrow but I have some tricky dental work, so it might be Tue or even Wed. (It’s just occurred to me I’m writing about Wide Open during a dental experience. Calling Dr Freud).
Brave adding Roy Harper and Linda Thompson......many/most of your American readers may have to do some homework to fully appreciate these fabulous UK artists! Richard and Linda had some fleeting U.S. label releases in the '70s, and Roy had several, I know.....but, scant radio play (as it does) means little to no sales! But, keep it up! You know I only know about them from that decade 'cause I was scouring my Houston, TX newsstand racks for MM, NME, and Sounds copies!!
A great playlist! Thoroughly enjoyed it on the way home from work tonight. Has never heard the Harper track before, for some reason- and it’s amazing. Especially as, despite my American origin, I really enjoy cricket! But … am I the only one to hear this and think Roger Waters lifted a but of it’s construction and atmosphere for parts of The Final Cut? I couldn’t get that out of my mind.
I don't know much about Judee Sill except her lovely song "Lady-O", which I heard The Turtles do. But the biopic seems fascinating.
