Ha! Lovely to hear! To be honest, all three Slim Chance albums! They are three of the most rollicking, life affirming, heartfelt long players I have ever heard from any recording artist, from any genre of music. And as you may be aware, if you listen to all of the lead vocals Ronnie recorded with The Small Faces, and then on to the first three Faces albums, it's when you get to The Faces' fourth album, "Ooh La La", and the song "Flags and Banners" - the only tune on the album on which he performs the solo lead vocal - that he finds his true singing voice, which then continued for the rest of his music making career. The back of the first volume of "The Rolling Stone Record Guide" describes Ronnie singing "rock as modern as today in accents as old as the British Isles." Not nearly enough has been written about this artist, and I look forward to your wonderful writing on him to come!
Exciting stuff Ian, I’m looking forward to it!!
Thanks, Mark!

Any plans to review albums by Ronnie Lane's Slim Chance? The Faces? Apologies, I know I'm being specific here...
Thanks for your interest, Lawrence. Yes, Ronnie Lane is on my long list. Which album would you recommend?
